Reign forever ?
And why not ?
He who left the Father’s side,
traded boundless splendour
for village workshop,
fallible followers, hostile hypocrites,
the common people, dusty roads,
the cross of shame – and me.

Jesus, Saviour, You
snatched me from Satan’s thrall,
brought me to light :
Through endless ages
in power and majesty,
grace and authority,
reign forever,
my matchless Master !
