The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it Jn.1:5.

Still Shining!

Thank You, Father
For that present tense -
‘the Light shines’,
yes, goes on shining !
Rays reach dim corners
and folk are brought
‘out of the darkness
into Your marvellous light’,
illumining too,Your believing people,
conquering their inner darkness !

And thank You for that past tense, too !
For Darkness made its throw at Calvary;
could not snuff out
the Light You sent !
And never will !
Halellujah !
