So said Moses
to Israel poised
to cross their Jordan
and find, in victories,
that he spoke true.
But think, my soul,
of times you’ve known;
on further bank
of some fraught ‘Jordan’
you’ve breathed a ‘thank You !’

Miracles, Lord,
are still Your speciality ! !
