Changeless One

I’m so glad the Man at Nain
cared for a mother’s grief,
and He of the lake who used a storm
to mobilise belief,
the Nazarene who on the cross
bore insults and sharp pain
delivering such as I from loss
is gloriously now the same !
Lord Jesus, as such pictures come
and tapestry my mind
what can I do but praise You
the unutterably kind ?
