"Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be
on the vines; though the labour of the olive may

Habakkuk

The Lord has said
"The just shall live by faith".
Profoundly preached,
professorly proclaimed,
soundly scripted,
harmoniously hymned,
‘tis blessed truth.
But have you heard the song of Habakkuk?
the soaring song that says it all?
Artless but Spirit taught,
‘the-one-who-clings’ by name and nature
elects, whatever comes, to trust,
to walk by faith,
when props are gone, no matter what !
