A Hard Teaching

So said ‘many followers’,
turned away and
‘walked no more with Him’.
I do not judge, for at that time
there was no Calvary
to teach by act of Love
Your passion’s depth:
How could they know ?

Let me not stumble
at some ‘hard teaching’
for, Lord, my mind is set
to close with all Your words
in gratefulness.
