Put my tears in Your bottle; are they not in Your book? Ps. 56:8

TEARS

There is no other who has seen
the tears I’ve shed,
no witness when, alone with You
I wept my way
into Your Kingdom,
or pleaded for Your touch
upon another,
or, mortified, re-lived some wrong
that I have done and cannot change.
Omissions not now open
to be made good,
times of opportunity
I did not seize
with people now passed on;
the hot, slow tears
that only You have seen -
Our secret.
Thank You, thank You, Lord:
There’s always You !
