"We remember… the cucumbers, the melons, the
leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole
being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this
manna before our eyes" ! Num.11:5-6

Cucumbers

Cucumbers, melons,
leeks and onions,
garlic too - remember it?
Such food we had in Egypt !
We’ve followed God
into a wilderness
and all we’ve got is manna.
We call it ‘worthless bread’.
Remember the Good Old Days?

I slaved in ‘Egypt’ too,
but blessed be God
for my ‘ Passover’ !
Bread from Heaven,
Soul-Food that satisfies,
a Guide that knows the way,
a Country better far
than Egypt !
Oh, Father;
