Unconquered Land

It’s true, Lord:
Land I should by now have conquered
still giant-possessed.
You know I’ve tried.
Victories there have been,
setbacks too, reminders of my frailty.
Give me Your hand, Lord:
I will to bring You title-deeds
of all that land out there !
