The Yawning Gap

I know it, Lord :
I know too well
the yawning gap !
Yet hunger-thirst,
the urge of Spirit
to think and live Your way
fills my horizon !

Lord, as I journey on,
possess this mind of mine
and tune it, lowly cymbal,
so I’ll contribute something worthy
to Your majestic symphony ! !
