Openness

I will to be open, Lord,
attentive to Your voice,
sometimes so firm,
sometimes a whisper,
sometimes a silence
that I have found to mean
‘WAIT !’
You are my life:
Grant me the grace, whatever else,
to guard my lifeline and be open
to You.
