Inquisitive

Inquisitive. An itch to learn,
to ferret out, to know what mean
the mysteries in Your word !
As if my finite mind
could e’er push back
Your pre-set boundaries !
And all the time there’s
Moses, saying ‘told you so’ ! !

Make me content
to constant close with what is clear;
green pastures, nourishment,
where I can browse
close to my Shepherd !
