‘O, my God, my soul is cast down within me; therefore I will remember You’. Ps. 42:6.

Let’s Persist !

Time was I’d look inside,
consult my woes,
consider what to do,
then deeper sink
in clinging mire.

Now I have learnt
when troubles come
to think on Your past mercies,
deliverances when all seemed dark.
Then, heartened,
thrust upward through the crust
into the light
to meet with You,
knowing You have the answers
and rest upon Your faithfulness !
