Welcome, Holy Spirit !

I thank You, Jesus
that Your Spirit calls,
arrests me in the midst of things
and sparks a prayer,
rebukes, the times when I’m astray
and need a check.

O, thank You, Holy Spirit
You take the trouble,
and please insist at any time
that I’m not listening,
for it’s plain truth
that I am needy –
and You know best !
