Israel said, "We have become orphans and
waifs…our dance has turned to mourning. We have
sinned." Lam.5:3,15-16

Christ has promised, "I will not leave you orphans; I
will come to you." Jn.14:18

No Orphans Now

Woeful plaint:
Israel orphaned, fatherless,
for sins of their fathers, sins of their own -
backslidden Israel.
But the merciful Shepherd
speaks peace to His own.
Orphans no more !
Oh, sovereign grace !
He’s promised
He’ll come for us !
