Established

You were the Watcher,
my life unfolding,
the One-Who-Saw I sought a cause,
a heart-committal that would satisfy.
You were the Watcher,
the One-Who-Knew,
as gradually my search became a desperation,
seeking a significance.
You were the Refuge I kept on missing,
as feverishly I fled down avenues of life,
ever travelling, not arriving.
My search is over ! Restless no more,
my unestablished heart tamed, calmed,
became Your dwelling,
established by grace.
Oh, thank You, Lord !
