The Real Me

The ‘inward parts’:
The very parts no other sees.
So what I am inside’s a sacred trust,
a covenant ‘tween You and me.

And Lord, I lean on You,
need grace to keep my part
for I’m so human, prone to err
and You’re so strong !

O, flood me with enabling grace
that when You knock and look inside
You’ll find no trace of Satan’s work
in this my body, soul and spirit
that here and now, once more,
I give away to You !
