Before Your Throne of Grace,
shut in with You, my heart’s intent –
to be real with You.

Be it praise, joying,
sorrow, groaning,
forgiveness seeking,
plea pressing
or wordless, quietly resting;
You who know all things,
‘spite of my frailty,
O, hear the words I bring
honestly.
