I’ve walked a long way with You, Lord.
The upward path’s been tough,
but there’s always been a light ahead,
flashing through the murk:
A mercy-beam,
to hearten the discouraged.
Seems to be shining brighter now
as the City comes in view,
Your promise to the just.
Me? just ?
