The love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit…….Ro. 5:5.

My Weak Love

Father, I thank You the Holy Spirit IS !
Jesus-sent, no ‘concept’ He, but One
who deigns to stoop, engage
with this frail sinner,
nudging me heavenward
when I grow tardy.
For see, such love I have for You,
such love for others
is not my doing
but graced upon me, debtor,
poured from Your measureless store
into my emptiness.

Oh, gracious Holy Spirit,
Never give up on me !
