Dryness

I know full well
when things of earth
hijack my hotline
to You, dear Father.
Sloth of spirit
steals the taste
for what is Spirit…..

O, thank You, Lord,
that when I breathe
the name of Jesus
He comes again in focus
and I can joy
in blest connectedness !
