My Halting Words

Father,
Your people are so needy.
Burdened, my words just tumble out,
oh, so finite, limited, halting,
limping up to your Throne of Grace.

Father, I thank You
for One who mends my cries, rephrases them,
presents them for me,
rightly ordered,
to You !
